Inquiry assistant and planning tools
Information in the inquiry assistant, rack planner and packing trial is initially processed only in your browser. There is no automatic form submission, file upload or transfer of these details to a form service. Only a deliberate click opens a prepared email draft in your own email program. You send it yourself there. Further transmission also depends on your email provider.
The brief description, current inquiry draft and transferred tool plans are temporarily stored in the sessionStorage of this browser session. This preserves your details when you switch to a planning tool. This data is not transmitted to DM-Cases and disappears when the browser session ends. A saved inquiry draft or equipment passport is stored as a file on your device only when you explicitly choose to do so. Please protect that file if it contains personal details.
Contact by email or telephone
If you send an inquiry to DM-Cases, the information it contains is processed to handle it and respond to questions. For contractual or pre-contractual matters, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR is the legal basis. For other matters, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR may apply. Information is retained only for as long as necessary for its purpose or where statutory retention obligations apply.
